Great style, but has some serious craftsmanship issues especially with the windows and patio doors . — It's quiet, convenient, and pretty. The staff is friendly and helpful. The windows and doors have been a constant problem for me in both units that I have lived in. The laundry situation can be frustrating only 5 washers and dryers for the entire building . The building is very pet friendly, but it leads to messes in the common areas that are not cleaned up as quickly as they should be. The halls are vacuumed once a week, the grounds are well maintained, and in general it is a clean community depending on the year tenants . The temperature-controlled garage is a nice amenity, but is getting really dirty and could be better maintained.

After living here for two years, I really have no complaints and I know that I will definitely miss this place now that I'm leaving Madison I especially love how welcoming they have been to everyone's pets.

The staff are friendly, the building is in great shape and kept clean as well as having really nice residents and love the neighborhood. Only wishlist item s I'd have is wishing there were common space options available or a gym.

We had some problems with our heat at the beginning of the cold season, but maintenance took a lot of time to make sure it was up and running as quickly as possible, so we were very happy with their attention. Overall, I'm glad we chose to live at Keystone. It's very nice and well-kept compared to many of the other houses and apartments I've seen in the area.

I would also tell them to really explore the area before signing the lease at Keystone because while the apartment itself is very modern, a few things are missing such as enough storage space in the bathroom, bathtubs in most apartments instead of standing showers, closet space, and on-site fitness center or at least a room with some equipment .

We really feel right at home here and are thrilled with how close it is to all the things - school, work, restaurants, shopping - we need Minor drawbacks are noise issues --it is very apparent when the folks who live above us are walking about, and the animals next door are easily heard-- but so long as you understand that yes, other people live in this building too, it's a great place.

You can tell it's less than 10 years old. The kitchen has nice, new, stainless steel appliances which is great. The dishwasher and built in microwave are my favorites. -The maintenance guy always comes within one business day and is very friendly and knowledgable. -Separate shower toilet from the sink in our apartment. It's nice for when you live with multiple people only sharing one bathroom. -Free laundry is awesome -The kitchen hallway living room floors are good quality. -Big windows with big window sills for plants. -Beautiful flowers they put in the entry and by the parking garage. -The water pressure in the shower is good. -There is always hot water in the shower -The heat AC has never broken -Free cable and internet is awesome. -Big cabinets in the kitchen for storing our food. Plenty of storage space for our food and kitchen items. -Availability of an underground, climate-controlled parking garage. -Big closets Cons -The quality of the windows is very cheap. They are made of wood and will expand a lot and grow mold on them. -The window cranks are also very cheaply made. They have been broken often and most of the time they don't open and close very easily. -The sound reduction between us and our upstairs neighbors is not as great as you would expect it to be. Better than most other old apartments though. We hear a lot of stomping jumping around. Maybe our upstairs neighbors are just really noisy I don't know. -The kitchen center island is very unforgiving when it comes to appearance. It shows every little spot. It starts to look dirty very quickly. Probably can't change it now, but it was just a poor choice by whoever picked it out. -The drawers and cabinet doors on the kitchen island are not well designed. As soon as they are not perfectly aligned, they don't glide back in very easily and they might even make a scraping or screeching noise from the wood rubbing together. -The dark brown carpet in the bedrooms is also very unforgiving. It will show any crumb or piece of dust. It starts to look dirty very quickly. Again, you probably won't change it, but it was a poor choice by whoever picked it out. -The paint on the walls doesn't stay on very well We should be able to properly use command hooks strips without a huge chunk of paint peeling off the wall. -The water is SUPER hard. Calcium build up on everything. I'm surprised this apartment doesn't have a water softening machine. If it does, then I blame the city of Madison for having such hard water, I guess.
