submitted by Tiara W. - |Recommended: YesVery nice, homey, welcoming — It is a quiet, cozy yet fancy place to live. It is a perfect location next to west campus and Camp Randall. The apartment building is a perfect size - not like a dense high rise building. The architecture and layout is pleasing and the management is very efficient and accommodating.

submitted by Zachary L. - |Recommended: NoGood quality of life — Only notable downside is that it's unfurnished.
submitted by Yi Z. - |Recommended: NoThe service needs to be approved — The staff told my roommate and I to pay the electricity fee on their website, where we pay the rental fee. And then they actually charge administrative fee on it, but nobody told us about it

submitted by Alexander P. - |Recommended: YesKeystone Appartments is Great — I like the niceness and cleanliness of the place.
submitted by Yuan L. - |Recommended: YesComfortable room with high elevation — I feel comfortable living at Keystone because the room elevation here is high about 3 meters . The space of the apartment is large, and the layout of rooms is suitable. Most of the time the atmosphere is quiet, but in the afternoon the upfloor neighbor is a little bit noisy.

Not having been a renter for so long I did quite a bit of research about property management companies before deciding that Steve Brown Apartments was the right one for me. There are endless horror stories out there about unscrupulous management companies and unsafe living conditions people pay money to live in. I knew there was no point falling in love with a particular property, its location or amenities, if there weren’t a reliable, ethical, competent and capable management company and staff there to make the day to day living experience pleasant and more importantly be responsive and willing to fix things when something goes wrong or needs repair. At this point I should say that I am not being paid for my review. I would recommend to anyone looking to rent in the Madison area to strongly consider renting a Steve Brown property. They are responsive, professional, and ethical and have trained administrative and maintenance staff that take resident concerns seriously and are quick to make any needed repairs or adjustments. Renting a Steve Brown apartment has removed for me any worries about having a safe well maintained home in which to live. Happy New Year.

submitted by Katie K. - |Recommended: YesIt's very nice but there are some weird design flaws — It can be really loud because of the high ceilings and wood floors, obviously that is an asset too and adds to the niceness of the apartment. We only hear our upstairs neighbors because they have a dog who likes to roll his ball around the apartment which can be very loud. We don't hear our next door neighbors at all. The screen door to the balcony is not a sliding door which makes it awkward to get out there.

submitted by Kyrsten C. - |Recommended: YesVery welcoming — Keystone is in a great residential area, and is very quiet. The parking availability has been great so far. However, the maintenance staff took a long time to fix the dishwasher. My apartment was also very dirty, especially the shower, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Property staff are very helpful.
